Poppys Under 2yrs Outside Areas

Welcome to our outside areas that is a dedicated space that is designed specifically for our children in our under 2’s unit.

This large space allows our  younger children to continue to learn through play. Children have many areas to explore and discover building on their curiosity of the natural world around them in our enclosed nature garden. Staff teach children to make connections  on how things work as they use our water wall or add leaves to soil to make pies in our mud kitchen.

We enjoy seeing the changes in children’s physical development as they use our climbing equipment, slide , swing , cars, bikes. Staff support children to become confident in their abilities so they can learn new skills.

Our lovely artificial grass areas and even surfaces enable our children that are not yet walking to have positive  experiences outside as they go through their  different stages of development. Our staff in Poppy room are very keen to ensure that all our children are included and gain as much learning outside as they do inside.
