Buttercups Room - 2 Year Fel

Buttercups Room 2-3s Age Group

Welcome to our Buttercup room where we focus on playing, exploring and learning as this supports children to thrive  across all areas of their development.
In our Buttercup room we support our children to feel secure, become confident and more independent so that they are motivated and eager to learn. This will enable children to become active learners, ready for their next step into our Pre - school.

We embrace children’s natural curiosity and enhance this in everyday activities using different ways to allow them to discover different outcomes. We encourage children to bring their own interests into their play and develop this through providing stimulating resources and experiences in an exciting and nurturing environment.

In our Buttercup room we encourage our children to be actively involved in their daily routine so they can take ownership of their own choices and decisions. This enables them to gain skills that they can use in their play and life experiences.

Supporting children’s language and ways of communication is key in Buttercups as this will enable children to play alongside and with their peers and become more confident in social situations.

We help children learn  about themselves as an individual promoting  self identity and self worth as children begin to experience changes in their behaviours. We  focus on our well being which enables children to begin to understand about  emotions  and about their own and other people’s feelings as children begin to form friendships.

Our Buttercup Room is for children aged 2-3 years and we operate a 1adult to 4 children ratio where our staff are very experienced , dedicated and passionate about supporting your child’s learning and development.
