Sunflowers Room 3-5s Age Group
Welcome to Sunflower room where we explore, investigate and discover new and exciting facts about the world. We have lots of fun playing in our nature garden looking for insects and going on bug hunts. We also enjoy playing in our purpose built learning area where we learn all about numbers, letters, shapes, days of the weeks and many more through play.
Our pre-school room caters for children aged 3-5 years and we have places for 32 children in this age group. In here we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage for children's learning and plan the activities based around the early learning goals. We aim to encourage social skills and cooperation through play and learning with a strong emphasis on role-play.

- Music

A key worker system is used in this age group and weekly planning incorporates group time to enable the key workers to plan appropriate challenging activities to help develop the children in their group. Regular progress reports are shared with parents/carers on their child's development.
The children in this age group have access to a outdoor garden in which they are able to explore and discover nature, wildlife and seasonal changes.
